11.45  Working with male victims

Many local domestic violence forums and existing victim-focussed agencies within the sector are looking at developing or extending service provision to male victims. These intentions whilst well-intended are based on many assumptions and often little fact. The session will explore some of these issues and examine what needs to be in place for practitioners to work with male victims safely.
